The Sussex County Chapter of the American Red Cross has been helping local families in time of great need for 93 years. Today we need your help in resolving a financial problem so severe that it threatens our very existence. Help us today to ensure that the Sussex County Chapter is here for you and your family tomorrow.

Heroes for the American Red Cross - March 19th  - April 9th 2010

Are you a Hero?  Please join the Sussex County Chapter of the American Red Cross for our 2nd Annual Heroes for the American Red Cross Campaign.  This is a grassroots campaign in which local people, businesses, schools, church, civic clubs and individuals pledge to raise $1,000 for the local Red Cross chapter.  The funds raised are used to support disaster relief, emergency military communications, first aid and CPR training and disaster preparedness information for our community.    Heroes can raise the money any way they like—as long as it’s legal!  Past Heroes have held car washes; garage sales; psychic fairs; and special events. Others have sold paper Red Crosses for $1, pies, and other baked goods.  There is even an on-line way to raise funds! It’s a fun and exciting way to support the Red Cross.  The campaign kicks off with a Breakfast on March 19th and concludes with a Celebration Luncheon on April 16th.   To become a Hero, call the Red Cross at 973-579-1600 today!  More information to follow...
