CONSIDER YOUR
LOCAL RED CROSS
IN YEAR END
GIVING PLANS
“Money raised
here – Stays
Here”
Newton, NJ,
December 27,
2010 - In
this season of
hope there is
one gift that
can really save
the day. It will
save the day for
the survivors of
the next
disaster that
strikes… for the
neighbor whose
home has burned
to the ground…or
the child who
needs a hug and
a Teddy bear.
The gift that
saves the day is
the gift you
give today to
the American Red
Cross. Money
raised now
allows the
American Red
Cross to be
there tomorrow.
Executive
Director Pat Day
said, “It’s a
certainty that
the Red Cross
will be called
on for
assistance many
times in the
year ahead. We
must never say
“no.” Our
dedicated staff
and volunteers
are prepared to
meet the
challenge. They
understand how
lives can be
turned upside
down in an
instant by a
home fire, a
natural
disaster, or
other tragedy.
But they need
the resources of
food, supplies,
and emergency
housing that
your
contributions
pay for”. Day
added, “Whenever
or wherever
someone in
Sussex County
needs the Red
Cross in 2011,
we’ll be there”.
As you consider
your year-end
giving, please
include the Red
Cross. Whatever
you can donate
will be greatly
appreciated.
Help your local
Red Cross raise
the funds needed
to ensure they
will always be
there for you
when you need
them most. Rest
assured, your
gift today will
save the day for
those we serve
tomorrow —
giving hope when
it’s needed
most. Remember,
donations to the
American Red
Cross are always
tax deductible,
and if you send
your gift by
December 31,
it’s deductible
for this year.
