Red Cross Marches in GNCC Holiday Parade

Newton, NJ, November 28, 2009 - Staff and volunteers of the Sussex County Chapter of the American Red Cross marched in the GNCC’s Holiday Parade and introduced their new mascot Lilly the Rottweiler, whose owner Becky Pollak plans to train her to become a Therapy Dog. Becky, a volunteer herself is currently assisting the chapter with their Service to the Armed Forces outreach to military families. Elliot Maikisch reminded paraded attendees of the importance of donating at the December 21st blood drive by wearing the famous Blood Drop suit!
