Red Cross Hosts Military Families Networking Group
Families of Deployed, Returning or currently serving
Newton, NJ, October 20, 2009 – The Sussex County Chapter of the American Red Cross welcomes home the county’s service men and women and we thank you for your service. Whether you or a family member is getting ready to deploy, has returned from serving, or if you have a family member who is currently deployed, your local Red Cross wants to serve you. Please join the Red Cross and other military families at Chapter Headquarters - 93 Spring Street, Newton, on October 23rd at 7:00 pm for a free Military Family Networking Group.
This group provides a unique opportunity to interact with other local Military Families who have common concerns and share similar experiences. Resources available to military families are shared including Red Cross grants for members of the U.S. Military, their immediate family members and veterans for free training in First Aid, CPR, Babysitter’s Training and even Pet First Aid.
Children are welcome and refreshments will be served. Your local Red Cross reminds you that military families are never alone in Sussex County.
