American Red Cross Invites You To Attend Military Family Networking Group
Newton, NJ, September 17, 2009 –The Sussex County Chapter of the American Red Cross wants you to know; whether your family member is getting ready to deploy, is away from home serving, or is just returning, your local Red Cross wants to serve you. Please join the Red Cross and other military families at Chapter Headquarters - 93 Spring Street, Newton, on September 25th at 7:00 pm for a free Military Family Networking Group.
This group (facilitated by Paul Spergel, a Licensed Professional Counselor of twenty years and a Red Cross volunteer) provides a unique opportunity to interact with other local Military Families who have common concerns and share similar experiences. Discussions vary and can focus on deployment, re-entry, the stress of managing the home front, and other topics. Resources available to military families, are also shared. Additionally, Red Cross grants for courses in First Aid, CPR, Babysitter’s Training and even Pet First Aid are currently available to members of the U.S. Military and their families.
Children are welcome and refreshments will be served. Your local Red Cross reminds you that military families are never alone in Sussex County.
