Newton, NJ, March 17, 2009 - On March 12th the Sussex County Chapter of the American Red Cross kicked off their inaugural “Heroes for the American Red Cross” Fundraising Campaign.  “This is a grassroots fundraising campaign where individuals, businesses and groups pledge to raise $1,000 for their local Red Cross Chapter. The Campaign goal is $35,000. These funds are needed to support vital programs and services right here in Sussex County.  The success of this Heroes Campaign is critical to the survival of the Chapter,” says Executive Director, Pat Day.  Additional sponsorships are available.
