The Spiritual Awakening Helps Uplift the Local Red Cross

Newton, NJ, March 29, 2010 — The Heroes for the American Red Cross Campaign, under the leadership of Campaign Chairman Robert Nicholson III, President of Eastern Propane, kicked-off on March 19th and runs through April 9th.   Executive Director, Pat Day said, “Heroes for the American Red Cross is a grassroots fundraising campaign where individuals, businesses and groups pledge to raise $1000 for their local Red Cross chapter.” The goal for this campaign is $55,000.  Day continued, “The success of this Campaign is critical as the funds will be used to support vital programs and services here in Sussex County”.

The Spiritual Awakening in Sparta announced it is raising funds for the Sussex County Chapter of the American Red Cross by holding an Afternoon of Psychic Readings on Saturday, April 3rd from 1:00pm-5:00pm. The Center is located at 156 Woodport Road across from Mohawk Gardens. Lots of fun is predicted with Psychic, Tarot and Angel card readings for those interested in a unique way of giving back to their community! Participants are encouraged to arrive early to be signed up for a reading and must be present when their name is called. For a $25 donation patrons will receive a 15 minute reading. Reading recipients must be at least 16 years old.  “This is a great way to gain a fresh perspective on your life while contributing to the needs of the people in our area,” said Arlene Rich, a co-founder of The Spiritual Awakening. She added, “We are happy to do what we can to help out. The Red Cross does a tremendous job in being there to help our community when we are affected by fires, floods, power outages and other emergencies.” The psychic readers, Arlene Rich, Michael Zaikowski and Diana Flanagan are well-known inside and outside the local community for their abilities in the psychic and clairvoyant realm. All proceeds go directly to the Sussex County Chapter of the American Red Cross. Come have some fun and support this important organization at the same time!
