Authorized Providers
At the American Red Cross, we count on the Authorized
Provider Program to further our mission of bringing communities the latest, most
reliable safety training and services available. Today, more than 310,000
authorized Red Cross instructors are bringing our time-tested health and safety
training to people in their communities.
Definition
An Authorized Provider is an individual or organization that has a Red
Cross-trained instructor who can provide American Red Cross health and safety
programs in-house. By becoming an authorized provider, you can build your own
training team to teach health & safety courses to employees of your own business
or members of your organization.

Our instructor training and authorization programs continue our tradition of
quality. It's why so many organizations count on the Red Cross for training that
keeps them prepared.
We'll handle the administrative chores
As an Authorized Provider, you can focus on training. The Red Cross can
issue the certificates, process your material orders, maintain records and help
you promote courses in your community.
We'll keep you informed
Ongoing support from your Red Cross representative will assist you with
training equipment and updates to courses and procedures, as well as regular
evaluation and training to keep your instructor's skills sharp.
Courses Taught
Authorized Providers can teach any CPR, First Aid, AED, Babysitting,
Lifeguarding, Swimming and HIV/AIDS education, depending upon the area of
interest in which they wish to specialize.
